Didi Hamann had a successful and influential career at Liverpool FC from 1999 to 2006. The German midfielder was known for his calmness, tactical intelligence, and defensive solidity. He played a key role in Liverpool’s 2001 treble-winning season, which included the FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Cup. Hamann's most iconic contribution came in the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final against AC Milan, where his introduction at halftime helped Liverpool mount a historic comeback from 3-0 down to win on penalties. In total, Hamann made over 280 appearances for the club, winning six major trophies before leaving for Manchester City in 2006.
